1. Return window
You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging with any seals intact.
2. How to start a return
- Email admin@hydpower.com.au or call 1300 730 198 with your order number and the reason for return.
- We will confirm your return and provide instructions within 1 business day.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to the return address below.
- Keep your proof of postage until your refund or replacement is processed.

4. Return shipping costs
If you are returning an item because it is faulty, damaged or was supplied in error, we cover the return cost. If you are returning an item for any other reason (for example, change of mind or incorrect part ordered), you are responsible for the return postage, and original freight charges are non-refundable.
5. Restocking fee
We do not charge a restocking fee. Approved returns are refunded in full for the value of the goods, subject to the return shipping terms in section 4.
6. Exchanges
We offer direct exchanges for the same item — for example, where an item arrives faulty or damaged, or you need to swap for the correct size or variant of the same product. Contact us at admin@hydpower.com.au or 1300 730 198 with your order number to arrange an exchange. If the exchange is due to a fault, damage or our error, we cover return and replacement freight. The item must meet the return conditions in section 1.
7. Items that cannot be returned
- Items that have been used, installed or fitted
- Items not in their original condition or packaging
- Custom-built, specially ordered or made-to-order items
8. Your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. This policy operates in addition to those rights.
